Challenge: Peace Arch Hospital is a true community hospital. It has served the White Rock/South Surrey community and its resident since 1954. As the community continues to grow and grow faster than ever in recent years, treating patients in the hospital originally built to accommodate a much smaller community becomes  challenging. The good news is a redevelopment and expansion has begun. PAHF hopes to involve and engage the Chinese community in the cause. And linQreative is hired to help create a connected, purpose-driven brand awareness in the Chinese community.

Result:  We started the process by looking closely at PAHF’s website, relevant news stories, past events and activities, and current brand communications. We identified that PAHF’s mission is rooted in the keywords “health and wellness”, which becomes our guideline for content creation in the Chinese community. We decided to focus on WeChat marketing, while incorporating other channels to connect with PAHF’s Chinese speaking audience. Within the first week of launching the WeChat OA, one Chinese-led company has committed to a long-term monthly donation to the Foundation. We also create a custom Chinese donation page to convert visitors to real donors and supporters. A page using their preferred language makes it easier for the Chinese residents to make a donation without any confusion, which results in a higher conversion/donation rate.
